How Does Botox Raise the Nose Tip?
In truth, Botox doesn’t “raise” the tip of the nose — it relaxes the muscle that pulls the nasal tip downward. As a neuromodulator, Botox relaxes targeted muscles for three to four months by blocking nerve signals. For this treatment, the injections target the depressor septi nasi muscle, usually placed right at the base of the septum. It can take one to two weeks for the full result to appear, allowing the nasal tip to rise slightly as the muscle relaxes.
