AVIVA Radiofrequency Labiaplasty
AVIVA is a non-surgical option for reshaping the labia. Unlike surgical labiaplasty, there is little downtime, no IV anesthetic, no major scars and few limits on activities after the procedure. Instead, AVIVA uses mild sedation and nonsurgical radiofrequencies to reduce the size of the labia. Your labia will be both smaller and tighter.
How Does AVIVA work?
AVIVA uses local anesthetic, and with your entire pubic area frozen, you won’t feel anything during the procedure. AVIVA uses radiofrequency heat energy beneath the skin, through a tiny incision. The radiofrequency is also applied to the external portion of the labia. This heat combination stimulates the body to shrink the labial tissue and remodel the structures underneath, resulting in a smaller, tighter labia.
Is AVIVA safe?
This type of technology has been tested and is used in skin tightening procedures for both the face and the body. The device monitors the heat generated by the radiofrequency, so there is no risk of overheating or under-heating the tissues. It only requires local anesthetic and sometimes mild sedation, which is far less risky than the general anesthesia required for surgical reconstruction. The procedure usually takes under an hour, and many patients only experience minor discomfort for a few days following treatment. Will AVIVA Also Correct Lax Pelvic Muscles?
